Friends of Navajo Canyon

Picture

Navajo Canyon is a hidden gem in our neighborhood, providing 2 miles of trail through native riparian and chaparral habitats.  All community members deserve the opportunity to walk, hike, and enjoy the open canyonland spaces right in our backyard!

Canyon Clean-Up, Saturday December 5th

Our first Friends of Navajo Canyon Community Clean Up was a huge success! Thank you to all the neighbors and community members that volunteered and donated items for this effort.
Special thank you to District 7 City Councilmember Raul Campillo and Park Ranger JJ Paetow for their help and support of our community.

Together we cleaned-up and packed out an estimated 1,000 lbs of trash from our canyon and surrounding Adobe Falls intersection!

Let's keep up this effort by working together to keep our canyon clean and a beautiful place to walk and visit! Please help ensure that trash is collected in a bin, and help to pick up any trash you see in the area. You can also use the city of San Diego's Get It Done app to report crime and illegal dumping
Please join our mailing list for information on future clean-ups and events!
The canyon clean-up was a part of AGGCC's community wide effort to beautify our neighborhoods.
