Navajo Canyon Clean Up, Saturday 12/5, 9am - 12pm
Navajo Canyon is a hidden gem in our neighborhood, providing 2 miles of trail through native riparian and chaparral habitats. All community members deserve the opportunity to walk, hike, and enjoy the open canyonland spaces right in our backyard!
The AGGCC invites you to take part in a Navajo Canyon Clean-up on Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Meet at the Adobe Fall trail head for a socially-distanced trash pick up along one of our community's most popular and beautiful trails.
More information can be found on our Friends of Navajo Canyon page
Holiday Lights for the Community, Starting Sunday 12/6
The final event in our Keep our Neighborhood Beautiful Campaign will be the hanging of the Holiday Lights for the Community. Every year, Board members of the AGGCC and other volunteers have hung Holiday Lights on the Waring Road Bridge, and decorated a tree on the intersection of Zion Avenue and Waring Road (commonly referred to as the “Triangle”) just to help make our community a little more festive.
This year will be no different, even in our socially distanced setting.
Lights will be hung on Sunday 12/6.
We hope you and your families will enjoy the lights as you walk or drive in our neighborhood. Please take pictures and use #AGGBeautiful to show appreciation to the volunteers who work hard every year to make our community beautiful and full of joy!
